Forbes, Forbes & Forbes Ltd is a small boutique realty brokerage, providing personal and highly focused property development, acquisition or research services to buyers or sellers. Based on the island of Middle Caicos, the brokerage took a strategic decision not to be involved with mega projects, condominium developments or main resort areas. This specialization lends strength to their experience and familiarity with smaller and less developed islands notably : Middle Caicos, North Caicos and Pine Cay.

North and Middle Caicos are large by TCI standards but sparsely populated. Both islands are tied up extensively in “generational property” – land that is still in title of those left land by the original plantation owners. The process of finding all relevant heirs and sheperding the property through the legal process is an fine art, and this firm has become expert in it.

For the private island community of Pine Cay, the company created a new specialty realty service exclusive to Pine Cay, developed dedicated websites to reach appropriate new members, and now discreetly markets available properties to maximum advantage while maintaining the privacy so important to its members.

Overall the Turks and Caicos Islands was the fastest-growing economy in the Caribbean for several years in the early 2000’s, with consequent soaring real estate prices. Real estate prices in the country overall softened considerably with the economic woes of 2008, and are currently stable and very attractive.  Interestingly, the private island communities held their prices, and even continued to increase in value. With a huge array of property for sale in TCI, 2013 is an excellent time to buy!!
