How utterly amazing this date is to me…very science fiction yet here I am. And here I am in this tiny country of Turks & Caicos, a wee speck on the map south of the Bahamas and north of the Dominican Republic! If anyone had asked me 25 years ago “would I live on a sparsely populated Caribbean island in middle age?” I would have laughed, but here I am. And very glad of it too! For fourteen years now this has been my home, and for five years I have been working with homeowners on the splendid island of Pine cay to find the right buers for their homes…..To start off the new year right – I’m very excited to present our new web site : www.pinecayrealty.com
Forbes Forbes & Forbes Ltd. today officially launches the Pine Cay Realty 2010 website!! It’s a compilation of all I’ve been trying to present for years about this wonderful island, with gorgeous new pictures. And in keeping with the amazement, these new digital pictures – and a ton of them have been taken for our new website – overwhelm me with staggering clarity. Finally the turquoise sea and the white sand show sharply in true colour. Aerials shots make me swoon, and vivid details capture my heart. This island of Pine Cay is spectacular, and now you can see it as I do.
A traveler most of my life, working in and living in an passing through over 57 countries to date, it is with no small pride that I can state Pine Cay is a most beautiful Caribbean destination, and the community of members an eclectic, gregarious, funloving group. The island is kept pristine by these members, with stands of gorgeous Caribbean pine, tendrils of wild orchids swaying above palmtop scrub, coconut palm graceful above…..no cars, no power lines…just sky, sand and sea.
The evolution of the community on Pine Cay is fascinating and ever changing as members retire and sell their property, or their children take over the family retreat. New members find their way to Pine Cay through friends, through the charming Meridian Club hotel – or through our gorgeous new website and internet exploration. The result is fun! A place in the sun where you can be as social or as private as you wish, where your every whim can be catered to or where rustic simplicity can be enjoyed, and a place with good people of like mind.
It is easy for me to relate so well to the wonders of Pine Cay as my own lifestyle is committed to a sparsely populated, isolated island with a majestic community of elders. The Turks & Caicos Islands overall is a fascinating bundle of tiny islands or cays, (forty of them), with only nine inhabited! Each island has its own distinct flavour, rhythm and style - different topography, different scenery, different flora and fauna…and Pine Cay is the oldest established private community here…… beckons you to visit.
Please visit the new website for full details about Pine Cay. I welcome your comments and thoughts anytime.

Greatest 'asset' is its beach. Its sterling reputation has been, justifiably, well documented. For those who haven't heard, I liken it to the beaches displayed in the Corona Beer TV ads. Imagine an unspoiled, primitive beauty that stretches, literally, for miles. My wife and I were often the only ones on this expansive area -- for hours!

Do Tell
My name is Howard Mayberry and my wife is Shelly Rann. We are musicians / songwriters in the Nashville music industry with many professional credits but still waiting on the cash drawer to ring. We have a dream that became a vision when we first laid eyes on the pictures of T&C. Please send us some info on what it takes to live there. Could we take our music and perform, as in gigs, in T&C. We operate a production studio where we write and record our songs for Film and TV content. I wonder if there would be a need for this on the island.
Thanks,
Howard and Shelly
