The lifestyle possible here, to share together the sea, sun and sand, is a true treasure. Whatever the age of your children or grandchildren, family activities abound to enjoy!

Hobie Cats


Pile aboard and run up the sails – it’s off into the gentle rolling waves on one of the Hobie Cat catamaran sailboats sitting prettily by the club beach. Sail out toward the reef, tack around and run along the north shore beach, then head in to shore – an exhilarating adventure, on a safe boat. While hotel guests do have priority, members have access to these sailboats on arrangement.

Eco-Walks 


Walking quietly through the indigenous landscape of the green spaces on Pine Cay allows time for a real nature experience; Orchids bloom, cactus perks up, pine trees blow in the breeze, and a wide variety of palms sway. Two walks have been cleared, taking you into the landscape and around the fresh water pools. Take a book to identify the birds, take lots of water, hats and sunscreen and go explore!

Picnics


This is probably the most unique of all Pine Cay activities…hike, swim, kayak or boat to any number of nearby beaches and cays for a picnic! Pack a light lunch, or order a catered picnic from the club kitchen and spend a relaxing time scouting your own deserted island for treasure, swimming, beach-combing and having fun as a family.

Beach


The soft white sand of the north shore beach invites you to jog, walk and build sand sculptures. With endless variety at the changing time of the tide, the direction of the wind or the time of year, the beach is a source of infinite pleasure. As you walk the soothing sound of the waves restores calm to your spirit, then a splash into the turquoise seas awakens every sense. And it is a piece of cake to teach anyone to swim in the buoyant salt water!

Shuffleboard

Near the tennis court, an outdoor full size shuffleboard game nestles under the trees. Truly fun, this is a great family game or party event. With long handled pokers and  weighted pucks, the skill lies in getting your puck to the target while knocking out your opponents puck....skill indeed.
